How to verify if your device supports eSIM and carrier unlocking requirements.

eSIM Compatible Devices

Apple iPhones

  • iPhone XS, XS Max, XR and newer
  • Requires iOS 12.1 or later
  • All models support dual SIM (physical + eSIM)

Android Devices

  • Google Pixel 3 and newer
  • Samsung Galaxy S20 series and newer
  • Samsung Galaxy Note 20 and newer
  • Most flagship Android devices from 2019+

Other Devices

  • iPad Pro (2018) and newer iPad models
  • Apple Watch Series 3 and newer (GPS + Cellular)
  • Microsoft Surface Pro X
  • Selected smartwatches and tablets

Checking Your Device

iPhone

  1. Go to Settings > General > About
  2. Look for "Available SIM" or "Digital SIM"
  3. If present, your device supports eSIM

Android

  1. Go to Settings > About Phone
  2. Look for "EID" or "eUICC"
  3. Or check Settings > Network & Internet > Mobile Network > Advanced

Carrier Unlock Requirement

Your device must be carrier unlocked to use our eSIM service.

How to Check if Unlocked

iPhone:

  1. Settings > General > About > Carrier Lock
  2. Should show "No SIM restrictions"

Android:

  1. Insert SIM from different carrier
  2. If it works, device is unlocked
  3. Or contact your current carrier

How to Unlock Your Device

Contact your current carrier and request unlock. Requirements typically include:

  • Account in good standing
  • Device fully paid off
  • Contract obligations fulfilled

Important Notes

  • Carrier unlocking is free in most countries
  • Process usually takes 24-48 hours
  • Some older devices may not support all eSIM features
